Who we are
The Applied Aikido Association is a branch of Dimensions Humaines ASBL. Dimensions Humaines collects the memberships of the Applied Aikido Association and keeps its accounts separate from its other activities.

These conditions apply to the use of applied-aikido.org, its community and its directory, and to membership of the Applied Aikido Association.
Using the website
Most of the website is open to everyone. Some spaces of the community, and the possibility to appear in the directory, are reserved for members.
To take part in the community, you need an account. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what is posted from your account.
Membership
Membership costs €25 per year. It is an annual subscription: it renews automatically each year, until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your account, or by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; no payment already made is charged again.
Membership gives access to the members’ area of the community and the possibility to appear in the directory, for as long as it is active.
Special offers, such as a first year offered to the participants of a seminar, are described on their own page and apply only to the people they are meant for.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe, and by PayPal for some older memberships. We never see or store your card details.
Right of withdrawal
If you live in the European Union, you may withdraw from your membership within 14 days of your first payment, without giving a reason. Write to us at info@applied-aikido.org and we will refund you in full.
The community
The community is a place for respectful exchange between people interested in applying Aikido outside the dojo. Please:
- treat other members with respect, even when you disagree;
- post only content you have the right to share;
- do not use the community for unsolicited advertising.
You keep the rights to what you post. By posting, you allow us to display it on the website for as long as it stays online.
We may remove content, or suspend an account, that does not respect these rules.
The directory
The directory presents professionals who apply Aikido in their work. To appear in it, you must be a member and describe your professional practice. Every card is reviewed before it is published, and we may decline or remove a card. The description of your professional practice is read only by the reviewer and is never published.
Liability
We take care to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that it is free of errors or interruptions. The cards of the directory and the posts of the community are written by their authors, who are responsible for them.

Applicable law
These conditions are governed by Belgian law. In case of dispute, we will first look for an amicable solution with you.
